MUSIC IN THEATRE
I've had a varied experience of music in theatre, including acting as Co-MD and jointly providing the score and orchestrations for Leeds Conservatoire's production of Rhinoceros (2021), acting as librettist for the opera Good Morning Channel 1 (2022) with Opera North, as Associate Musical Director for Twelfth Night (2022) at Leeds Playhouse and accompanying TIE Tour, and more recently as
Musical Supervisor for Family First (2024) and Get Wed (2024) at Harrogate Theatre

As part of a collaboration between Visible Fictions and Leeds Conservatoire, I was asked to score one of the short films made by BA Acting Student Leannah Gardner. Completed during lockdown, the film was shot, scored, and edited in isolation as part of their Phone Fictions project.
Under The Surface
Under the Surface is a short student film experimenting with the use of physical theatre in a screen medium. Written by Nicki White, and with movement direction and choreography by Tyler Pickles, Under the Surface tells the story of three students who meet at a house party following a lock down.
